We aim to provide a supportive and stimulating Christian environment where all children feel valued and able to develop their full potential in God’s ever changing world.
Ashford St. Mary’s is a large school, with 420 pupils aged between 4 and 11. We are situated in the centre of Ashford. Our pupils come from a wide range of backgrounds.
We are very proud of our school and enjoy showing people around, so if you are interested in joining our community, as a pupil, parent or member of staff, please contact us to arrange a tour.
When you come along you will discover that the school buildings are modern and well resourced. Art and music are particular strengths of the school and that is immediately apparent as you enter the building.
There is an independent nursery attached to the school as well as a breakfast and after school club. We also offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities to enhance the children’s learning.
We believe that it is important to forge strong links with parents and with the local community and, amongst other things, run a number of clubs and courses for parents or for whole families to take part in together. Our Parent Support Officer is an important point of contact for families. The school also has close links with St Mary’s Church and other Christian groups.
Although our pupils achieve well, we are interested in more than just results. We aim to provide an inspiring, stimulating and enjoyable education for all our pupils, introducing them to a wealth of exciting experiences across the whole curriculum.
