We are very happy to tell you that ‘Patch’ has returned to his ‘forever home’!

Come and see him in our main reception area.

We are delighted also, to have handed over a cheque for the fabulous amount of £719.15, which has been raised through sponsorship, staff donations and fundraising by our wonderful Rotakids. The Pilgrims Hospice were extremely grateful and send their thanks for your generosity.

All of us at Ashford St. Mary’s are delighted to have been chosen to take part in the Pilgrims Hospice‘Snow Dogs Discover Ashford 2018’.  As part of this very special project, on the of 10th May, we took delivery of a giant white Snow Pup.  In total 17 schools are taking part in the ‘puppy programme’.

“The Education Programme puts creativity at its heart and is linked with the national curriculum for Key Stages 1-2; this creative project will see school children decorating their pups during the summer term, alongside classroom activities.”

This week children across the school were chosen to decorate our snow pup and from September to November it will be part of the arts trail across the borough to encourage everyone to discover the town.

The trail will be on display for 10 weeks from September 2018 to November 2018, creating a festive feel in the lead up to Christmas. It will also give visitors and locals the chance to see and celebrate some of Ashford’s best bits to support local hospice care.
