If your child is unwell or absent from school you can report their absence via the  School App – go to MORE, FORMS, SELECT REPORT MY CHILD’S ABSENCE.   Alternatively, please phone the school office, giving your child’s name, class and reason for absence.  Absence should be reported by 10am, if we have not heard from you by this time we will contact you.

If your child is off with sickness or diarrhoea they should not return to school for a least 48 hours after the last episode.

Holidays in term time are actively discouraged by the school and the Local Authority and leave can only be granted in exceptional circumstances. If your child needs leave of absence you will need to write to the school requesting this however permission cannot be granted retrospectively. Parents who remove their child from school without authorisation may be issued with a Penalty Notice.

If someone else will be collecting your child from school please email or after 2pm telephone the school office on 01233 625531.
